We prefer if you call ahead to reserve your boat, but you are free to stop by and see what’s available.

It is highly recommended that you know how to swim. We provide life jackets with all our rentals for your safety.

Yes, you will be required to sign a release waiver prior to your trip. To save time, you can download the forms here and fill it out ahead of time.

Yes. We accept most major credit cards or cash for payment. Sorry, but we do not accept personal checks.

Yes. We offer discounts to groups of 10 or more people, Active Military Personnel, and Wilkes County residents.

It depends. If you have made your deposit to reserve a boat or boats and you call us to cancel due to inclement weather, we will reschedule your trip without any additional charges. However, if you don’t cancel your reservation or it starts raining while you are on the lake or river, we are unable to refund your money.

Yes and No. Yes – for our motorized boats, you must have boating experience and be at least 26 years old to operate our boats.

No – for our floating boats/tubes; however, we do NOT recommend children under 6 on any float other than our family-friendly RIVER TUBS. You do not have to have prior experience to rent our tubes, kayaks, canoes, paddle boards or RIVER TUBS – we’ll give you a few pointers to help get you started enjoying the Yadkin River.

Remember: Paddling is a physical exercise. Consult your physician prior to undertaking any program of physical exercise.

When renting boats, there are no river guides. The river is a natural environment with downed trees, rocks and fluctuating water levels, depth and current speeds. Man-made obstructions such as bridge piers and dams should be avoided. Be ready for possible temperature and weather changes.

Yes. The cost for shuttle service for non-rental customers is $20 per boat with a minimum of 2 boats.
